Thank you for supporting the Central High School’s Baseball program by participating in our Super Bowl LVII Block Pool Fundraiser. The game will be played Sunday, February 12th, 2023 in Arizona. Your support will help our program to pay for assistant coaches, uniforms, equipment, umpire fees and more!
1. A single block is $25. Any individual is able to buy more than one block.
2. By purchasing a block, or blocks, name(s) will be assigned randomly on one of the two official Block Pool Boards as they come in, and BEFORE score numbers are assigned to the empty rows and columns along the outside of the grid – before the championship game.
Please Note: Due to multiple player families, and coaches, selling blocks simultaneously, we will not let participants pick their own blocks.
4. An effort will be made to keep duplicate participant blocks away from each other and/or split across the two boards. Same for matching family last names. If numerous blocks are bought by one person, their name may appear on both boards.
5. Before the Super Bowl, the completed block pool boards (with names only) will be emailed to all participants.
6. On 2/11/22, score numbers (0 to 9) will been assigned randomly by picking numbers out of a baseball cap. The top rows will be assigned first, followed by the side columns.
The numbers on Board 1 will not match Board 2. The final (numbered) boards, with final team logos, will be emailed on or before Super Bowl Sunday.
7. HOW TO WIN: There’s one winner, per Board, at the end of each of the four regulation quarters (overtime results aren’t part of payouts). Winning blocks are determined by
using the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter. If the score at the
end of the 1st Quarter is AFC Team 7 – NFC Team 13, you would find the number “7” in
the top row and the number “3” in the left column. The participants’ names residing in
the blocks where they intersect is the winner of that quarter. See the sample board attached/ It’s possible to win more than one quarter!
8. PRIZE(S): Winners will receive $200 for each end-of-quarter prize. We will have two boards. Therefore, there will be eight winners. Again, overtime is not in play. There will no empty blocks. Hopefully we sell all blocks. The Central team keeps the rest.
If you are a winner, you’ll be notified on the Monday after the game to make arrangements for payment. Although we expect you’ll be watching and know if you won! Or, your Player Family Member will be in touch. Good luck!
